In October 2022, the Commission was designated under the MRP Order, 2022, alongside the Seychelles Licensing Authority (SLA) to enforce the order. Both agencies
agreed to conduct monthly inspections with the Commission leading all the inspections, drafting reports, following up with enforcement and collecting fines during this reporting period ending October 2023. After the end of the MRP Order 2022, the Control of Supplies and Services (Maximum Retail Price on Articles Purchased from Seychelles Trading Company Limited) (Amendment) Order, 2023 was enacted and a 15th item was placed on the schedule.
