Recall
The Fair Trading Commission monitors product recalls to help ensure consumer safety in Seychelles. The Commission initiates certain recalls, and we are regularly alerted by regional partners such as COMESA about urgent recalls involving unsafe or defective products. If a recalled product is found to be present or potentially entering the local market, we take swift action in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders. This includes notifying the public, advising suppliers and importers, and taking necessary actions.
